Michelle went to Stirling University in 2001 to study Religious Studies, Philosophy and Professional Education. She started her teaching career in 2005 as a Religious Moral and Philosophical Teacher (Secondary) and after seven years she went on to become a Nurture Teacher (Primary). During this time, Michelle trained in Seasons for Growth and Roots of Empathy. Michelle joined Capability Scotland (Stanmore House School) in 2014. Michelle progressed to Head Teacher after completing her Post Graduate Qualification 'Into Headship' at Strathclyde University. The 'Into Headship' is Scotland’s national qualification for headship.
Michelle has a vocation in education and works alongside our allied health professions to ensure that all our learners get high-quality learning experiences. Michelle is passionate about ensuring all our learners achieve their full potential.
