We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a young female adult in Beattock. Abi has Cerebral Palsy and uses a manual wheelchair.
Abi requires support in promoting her independence and needs support to get out and about in her chair and using public transport.
Working with Abi
- £9.30 per hour
- Eight hours per fortnight
- Abi requires someone who can relate to a younger person.
- You will also have to be a good communicator, patient and an ability to be flexible.
- Experience in supporting young people an advantage but not essential.
- You will need to be available from 3.30pm during school term time and possibly some weekends.
- This post is subject to a satisfactory PVG check.
