Support Worker - Oakfield 1

Oakfield is a small day service, situated within an adapted house in the town of Kelty. Our Customers are supported to participate in a wide range of meaningful activities in the service and local area. Customers know that their care and health needs will be met by the Oakfield's team of dedicated, trained staff.

We offer a variety of activities in which Customers can participate. The building base also provides an access point for visiting professionals such as physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and reflexologists.

Our Customers are supported on a daily basis to make choices with their full involvement. The service operates Monday to Friday 8.30 am till 4.30 pm.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be a key member of the team, providing:

  • High standards of support to our customers
  • A creative and caring approach
  • Opportunities to build strong relationships with our customers, their families and other supporting professionals
  • Encouragement and support to live as independently as possible
  • Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital
  • You should have excellent communication skills and be flexible and empathetic.

A driver's license and a car are advantageous so please let us know if you have these.

We have various hours available for the post. It is a temporary post until April 2023.
