We're looking for new colleagues to join our amazing #TeamEdinburgh on a relief/flexible working basis to enable us to develop our exciting new project, which offers short breaks, to people who already use our day services.

We are looking for individuals who are caring and patient with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour, don’t worry if you haven’t done this type of work before, we offer full training and support.

The Role – Community Living Assistant

 
You will be providing support to individuals either in their own home or in our fully accessible flat in South West Edinburgh for a short break. Whilst supporting our customers with all aspects of daily life such as cooking, housework and personal care. There is a big focus on fun and social support, from going for walks or trips out for a meal or to the cinema, we are quite a crafty bunch, so hope you will enjoy getting creative with us too!

Shifts

Our new short stays service is growing fast and is tailored to the needs of each individual, we need people with evening and weekend availability although, we also offer services which include early mornings, days, sleepovers and public holidays – so don’t let availability hold you back, apply now and one of our friendly team will be in touch to find out more about what you can do.

As the short break service develops there will be opportunity for you to become a permanent part/full time member of staff, should you desire.
