Stuart Alexander

A Chartered Banker and Fellow of the Chartered Banker Institute, Stuart started his career with Clydesdale Bank in 1980 and retired from full-time employment as Chief Operating Officer of Hampden & Co. in 2021, where he was one of the original team to establish the bank in 2015.  He now acts as a banking consultant for small and medium-sized enterprises.   This gives him more time to spend with his young granddaughter and to start ticking off the many things on his ‘bucket list’.  Stuart is a former Council Member of the Chartered Banker Institute.  Along the way, Stuart studied for a degree in Business Law as a mature part-time student.
