Relief Team Leader Post – Youthzone

We are looking for a relief/bank Team Leader in our weekend children’s services at Capability Scotland. The role will be to work alongside the team leader of the session to provide support for children and young people with additional support needs by providing fun, meaningful activities and supporting trips in the community.

You will be required to lead a small group of young people and staff during the session and work alongside the team leader to ensure all health and safety requirements are met.

Working hours that are desirable are every Saturday 9.30am – 2.30pm then availability to cover A/L on occasional Sundays. The service runs from two venues, Craigmillar and Riccarton areas in Edinburgh, the successful candidates would be specific to one venue in their role.

Candidates should have experience in a childcare setting and a relevant childcare/health and social care qualification, SVQ4 level or SVQ3 level with willingness to work towards SVQ4 level qualification and willingness to register as a Manager/Lead practitioner in a Daycare of Childrens service with the SSSC.
