At Capability Scotland our North Lanarkshire, Care at Home & Supported Living Services provide 24-hour care to adults in their own homes and community.  

We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support services. Our goal is to empower people to live independent, fulfilling lives, and we are looking to recruit a team of compassionate and dedicated Support Workers/Community Living Assistants to join our team. 

Our visits are a minimum of 4 hours, meaning you can really get to know the individuals in your care and can make a positive difference to their lives.  

***This role DOES NOT qualify for skilled worker shortage visa sponsorship***

  • Support adults with disabilities with daily living activities and personal development 
  • Encourage independence, community involvement, and meaningful engagement 
  • Assist with household tasks, transportation, and social activities 
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment 

🌈 What We’re Looking For: 

  • Caring, patient, and reliable individuals 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
  • Previous experience in care or social support (a plus but not required) 
  • Flexibility for shifts (including evenings/weekends as needed)

  • What you need to know:  

It is essential that you are a driver with access to a vehicle, due to the logistical demands of this role. 

Due to customer choice for intimate care, our remaining vacancies are only available to female candidates. * Schedule 9 Part 1 (1)(1)(a) of the Equality Act 2010 applies (GOR) 

Hours: Up to 37 hours per week (full time, part time, relief and weekend only contacts). We can offer a variety of hours/shifts, including evenings and weekends. Sleepover shifts are also available. 

Overtime at enhanced hourly rates is available. 

Location: Our customers are based in Wishaw & Shotts / Hamilton / Motherwell & Bellshill /Coatbridge & Airdrie. (ML1-ML7)
