Personal Assistant
“Please note Capability Scotland isn’t the employer we are only acting on behalf of our client. The client will be the employer.”
Robert (prefers to be called Murdo) is a 63-year-old gentleman who lives in Stranraer with his family. Murdo has a history of strokes, and his health has declined since his first stroke 12 years ago. Currently, Murdo’s son is his main carer in the mornings and it would be extremely beneficial for the family to have a PA to give them much-needed respite. Murdo spends most of his week at home unless he has any appointments, he previously attended Capability Scotland and the local day centre. There may be scope to support Murdo to consider community activities again to reduce isolation and hopefully increase motivation.
