“Please note Capability Scotland isn’t the employer we are only acting on behalf of our client. The client will be the employer.”
Hello, I am a young at heart 69-year-old gentlemen. I live in Castle Douglas with my two adorable Cats who mean the world to me they are called Buttons and Patch. I enjoy watching games shows on channel 5 and of course watching football on the telly when it is on. I am a Rangers supporter. I also enjoy going out for drives in the car and going for food. I do attend the Castle Douglas ARC weekly on a Monday & Friday.
Due to my health and mobility issues, I am looking to recruit a personal assistant to help support myself, and to be able to work alongside my current small team of personal assistant’s. I would need support with all aspects of life such as getting up in the morning where I use a hoist to do this and a steady. Experience in this isn’t essential as training can be provided, I am a wheelchair user and would need support with this. Following on from this I would need support with meal prepping, medication and personal care. Due to the personal care, I would prefer a male.
I am looking for someone that can fit in with my other personal assistants and is reliable, caring and compassionate. You would need to feel comfortable to do sleep overs as the shifts would be 72 hours over 3 days with 6 days off. The timing of the shifts is from 9:00am – 21:00pm. There will be a requirement to help cover sickness and holidays. You would have your own private room to sleep in. Your hourly rate with be £12.60/hour with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata. A suitable PVG is required and driving licence.
If this sounds a good fit for you then I would love to hear from you. Please use reference SCWP2022 when applying.
