Personal Assistant Required - Dumfries & Galloway

Hi, my name is Allan. I'm an 84-year-young gentleman living in a beautiful part of Dumfries & Galloway. Despite having a prosthetic leg, I'm an easy-going person who loves living life to the fullest. I'm looking for support totalling 14 hours per week to assist me with daily living tasks.

Support Needed:

Morning Visit:

• Washing
• Dressing
• Showering (at least twice a week)
• Medication prompting
• Catheter care

Evening Visit (around 7pm):

• Help getting ready for bed
• Assistance into bed
• Ensure that I am comfortable and have everything that I need

About Me:

I enjoy going to the pub on Friday afternoons for a couple of hours to meet friends. I also like watching television, especially news channels and quiz shows, and I enjoy listening to music.

About You:

I'm looking for someone who is:

• Dedicated and reliable
• Lives locally
• Flexible
• Honest and trustworthy
• Moving and assisting trained is preferred but not essential (training can be provided for the right person)
• Friendly and able to engage in good conversation
