Personal Assistant - Castle Douglas

I am a woman who lives in Castle Douglas. I enjoy arts and crafts and reading.  During my day I will usually spend some time doing one of the above.  I also attend an online art class on a Wednesday afternoon. My interests are also current affairs and politics. 

I have severe hearing loss so would like to be spoken to clearly, so I fully understand. I have well managed Type 1 diabetes this means that I must count my carbohydrates at every meal to ensure my bloods remain stable. I also have reduced mobility, so I am looking for a PA to support me to live the way I want to.  

 

Role overview 

• Personal Care  

• Household tasks include cooking and cleaning up after meals 
• Type 1 diabetic carbohydrate counting and awareness (ideal but not essential) 

 

 

Hours & Pay 

• £13.45 

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday  

• Lunch time 12 - 1.30pm

• 5.6 weeks paid annual leave

There may be an opportunity to get more hours in the future.  The rate of pay would be £13.45 per hour with paid annual leave of 5.6 weeks pro rata. A suitable PVG is required.
