I am a retired professional living in Castle Douglas. I enjoy knitting, embroidery, crosswords, sudoku, quiz programmes, reading, and writing about my life.

What I require

Someone to join a small team of personal assistants supporting me at home. I use a wheelchair and need support with personal care, meals, getting up, and going to bed. A hoist and stand aid are used, and training can be arranged if needed.

Key benefits:

· £16.50 per hour if employed by me

· Self-employed applicants may apply £17.50 per hour

· Mileage paid for travel over 10 miles from Castle Douglas

Hours

· Variable Hours

· Morning visits 8am to 9am may need extended on occasion to 10am

· Evening visits 10pm to 11pm

· Cover occasionally needed for holidays

· PVG membership is required.

· Holidays 5.6 weeks pro rata

· 2 PA positions available

Qualities you need

· Reliable and punctual

· Understanding of confidentiality

· Willing to learn new procedures

· Happy to complete any required training
