About Me 

Hi, I am 8 years old and I am a very active boy who loves being out and about and having fun! 

I enjoy playing with Lego, football and rugby. I also love going to the park and swimming. I have lots of energy and enjoy keeping busy and taking part in different activities. 

What I Need 

I am looking for a friendly, patient and caring Personal Assistant to support me when I go out and take part in activities that I enjoy. 

I am currently awaiting assessment for autism and ADHD, so it would be helpful if you have an understanding. 

I can be very sensory-seeking and sometimes put things in my mouth, so I need someone who will be aware of this and help keep me safe while still encouraging me to have fun and enjoy my independence. 

About You 

I would like someone who is: 

Fun, friendly and energetic 

Patient and understanding 

Confident supporting me when we are out in the community 

Understanding of Autism, ADHD and sensory needs 

Able to keep me safe while helping me enjoy new experiences 

Happy to join in with the activities I love 

Hours and Pay 

Hours: 2 hours per week during school term time, increasing to 6 hours per week during school holidays. 

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour. 

Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks’ paid holiday entitlement, calculated pro rata. 

Possible relocation from Newton Stewart to Stranraer in next few months
