We are looking for a Personal Assistant(s) to support a local gentleman who lives in Castle Douglas. The support is to cover personal care visits in the morning and additional social visits a couple of afternoons a week. Your duties would include supporting to shower and dress in the morning support with medication and meal prep. The afternoon respite visits would be to encourage getting out and about and socialising.

Working with this Gentleman:

  • Morning and afternoon visits with occasional holiday and sickness support
  • It is desirable that applicants have had previous experience in Adult Support Services or Care Services.
  • Compassionate and caring
  • An understanding or experience of working with dementia would be beneficial.
  • Flexible hours (to be discussed at interview)
